Stretching is an art. It requires attentive guidance as well as practice to understand how to stretch properly with the goal of rebalancing your body after it is stressed from strenuous exercise or prolonged sitting or standing.
ZENTONICS™ is a meditative, soothing, and refreshing one hour class using a yoga mat and an air-filled roller. It has been developed from both Eastern and Western approaches to stretching and is based on current scientific understanding.
Participants receive one-on-one guidance to learn how to stretch properly and safely while developing a clearer understanding of their own structure and how to work with it. For this reason, ZENTONICS™ is offered as a private or small group class with up to four participants. Holly Sweeney-Hillman offers:

Holly Sweeney-Hillman has an extensive background in the art of stretching beginning with dance studies at Mary Washington College and numerous New York studio schools including Jose Limon, Erick Hawkins, Ruth Currier and Alfredo Corvino. She gained an Eastern perspective of the body through practice of Tai Chi and Chi Kung. She holds a Masters degree from New York University in Orthopedic Biomechanics, is a certified Alexander Technique teacher, and is Teachers' Academy Instructor for the International Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association.
